Flat tape preparation for woven packaging

Kangjia flat tape extrusion equipment processes polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE) through heating, extrusion, slitting and stretching. The tapes are wound for the subsequent weaving process.

What Is a Flat Yarn Extrusion Line?

In woven-packaging terminology, “flat yarn” usually means a narrow plastic tape rather than conventional spun yarn. A flat yarn extrusion line prepares polymer, forms film or tape, stretches the material and winds it for Circular Weaving. PP and HDPE are material options mentioned in the Kangjia range; the correct process setup depends on the actual grade and product.

How to Plan the Line

Define the polymer, target tape width and thickness, winding package, intended loom and finished woven-fabric specification. Check the plant layout and utilities against the proposed line. A stable upstream tape supply helps the downstream loom run with the intended fabric construction.
